Kathy Greene Lawhon, 52, of Bartlett passed away Sunday, Sept. 16 at her home.
She was born in Memphis, Tenn., on Dec. 29, 1959. Kathy graduated from Memphis Harding Academy in 1977 and obtained her bachelor’s degree from Harding University in 1982. She was a teacher for more than 29 years. She was first and foremost a disciple of Jesus Christ and member of Germantown Church of Christ. Kathy is survived by her husband Sherrel Wayne Lawhon; parents Bill and Mollie Greene; sisters; Cindy Greene, Brenda Greene, and Vicki Cochran (Roy), nieces Clara and Emily; Brother-n-law, Larry Lawhon (Donna), nephew David (Nikki) and a niece Kaitlyn; Jason (Mandi) nephew and niece Hunter and Keleigh; nieces Amber and Lynette; sister-in-law, LeAn Lawhon Ramsey (Stoney) nieces, Meghan, Madison, and McLane and a host of family and friends. Visitation is planned for friends and family, Saturday, Oct. 6 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Germantown Church of Christ, 8723 Popular Pike, Germantown, Tenn.
