Stone’s Throw Dinner Theatre is proud to present its upcoming performance of George Orwell’s “1984.”


George Orwell’s satirical story about dystopian Oceania - a society tyrannized by The Party and its totalitarian ideology. Patrons will be amazed at the similarities between the current world and Orwell’s predictions, made in 1948, of a future world where “BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING”.


The cast features: Loudspeaker voice - TBD Parsons - Wendy Wolf Syme – Joe Kowalski Winston Smith -John Tsangaris; Messenger - Sydney Eggerman; Coffee Vendor - Sheila Myers First Guard - Becky Faulk Second Guard – Brian Harter O’ Brien - Dolph Hubbard.


Performances will be held at Stone’s Throw Dinner Theatre, 2466 W. Old Route 66 Blvd., Carthage, on Oct. 4, 5, 6 and Oct. 12, 13, 14, 2012.
For dinner shows: Thursday-Saturday doors open at 6 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m., and show begins at 7:30 p.m. Sunday performances, doors open at 12:30 p.m., dinner at 1 p.m., with show beginning at 2 p.m.


Prices are $22 for adults, $19 for seniors over 55, $19 for youth (13-18), $10 for children (6-12), $19 for Students with ID, children 5 and under are free. On opening night, Veterans with ID are $15.
