Bernadine A. Dudley, age 76, of Seneca, passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 at her home.
She was born March 25, 1936 in Carl Junction to Harold Weaver and Ruby Jantz Weaver. She graduated from the Alba High school in 1954 and then graduated from the Joplin Business College in 1956. Bernadine was a member of the Nazarene Church.
She worked for the Keystone American Laundry in Joplin for 27 years and worked at the Joplin Health and Rehabilitation for two years before retiring in 1993. Her husband, Kenny Dudley, preceded her in death Feb. 18, 1987.
She is survived by her daughters, Janice Pritchard of Seneca and Joyce Boles of Baxter Springs; a stepson, Rodney Dudley of Joplin; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was also in death by her parents, a brother, Don Weaver, and her stillborn children, Harold Dean and Barbara Ann McCullen.
A time of visitation will be at the Simpson Funeral Home at 10 am. Monday, with the funeral services beginning at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Pastors Leon Hendricks and Mike Wine will officiate. Burial will be at Weaver Cemetery.
