Randall Arlie Stewart, 56, Carthage, Mo., passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage, Mo.
Randall was born in St. Louis, Mo. on Oct. 22, 1955 to Phillip and Betty (Hazell) Stewart. His father was a journeyman carpenter and painter and moved his family very often to follow his work.
He married Carol Kelley on Sept. 26, 1977 at LaRussell, Mo. Two daughters were born to this union.
Randall greatly enjoyed the outdoors, and particularly enjoyed vacationing in Colorado. He loved the Colorado Springs area, and never tired of the beauty of the Rocky Mountains.
Randall worked as a mechanic most of his life, and was employed by a trucking company until ill health moved him to retirement. He was known as a kind and good-hearted man who was always ready and willing to help anyone in need.
Randall was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Stewart, and by one brother, Doug Stewart.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol, of their home; by two daughters, Stacy Tweedy and her husband, William, Avilla, Mo., and Donna Mueller and her husband, Brian, Carthage, Mo.; his mother, Betty Stewart; two brothers, Phillip Stewart and his wife, Dorothy, Springfield, Mo., and Kenneth Stewart and his wife, Karleen, Nixa, Mo.; five grandchildren; other relatives and many friends who will miss him very much.
Memorial services for Randall Arlie Stewart will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012 in the Knell Mortuary Chapel.
