Virginia June (Sloniker) Keller, 74, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family.
Virginia was born Nov. 4, 1937 in Carthage, Mo., to C.C. “Bud” Sloniker and Dolly “Williams” Sloniker. She was a lifelong Carthage resident working at Big Smith manufacturing and retiring from Integrity Home Health Care. She was a member of the Perseverance Church.
Virginia was married to George Albert Keller in Carthage, Mo., he preceded her in death in 1977. She was married to Victor Warren Hazlett in Carthage, Mo. He survives.
Virginia is survived by two sons Christopher Keller of Carthage, Mo., and Victor Hazlett of Carthage, Mo., three daughters Susan Frazier of Carthage, Mo., Rhonda Gwyn Sanford of, N.C., and Sheila Cassidy of Southwest City, Mo., one sister Claudine Mead of Carthage, Mo., one brother Ted Sloniker of Avilla, Mo., and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, one son David R. Keller two brothers Vernon Sloniker and Melvin Sloniker.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 at Arthur Cemetery east of Carthage. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 at the Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel.
