Heat delays start of Carthage Invitational

Due to heat warnings forecast for Thursday, the Carthage Invitational cross country meet has been pushed back to later in the day.

The boys varsity race was originally slated for 4 p.m. and will now begin at 5:15 p.m. Varsity girls will race at 5:50 p.m., boys freshmen and junior varsity will run a combined race at 6:30 p.m. and the girls freshmen and junior varsity will run a combined race at 7 p.m.

Awards will be handed out at 7:30 p.m.
