Mary Frances McNamara, 71, passed away Aug. 8, 2012 at her home in Joplin, Mo., with family by her side.
Mary was born Dec. 31, 1940 in Carthage, Mo., to Leola and Henry Lasiter. She was a homemaker. Mary was a member of the Sacred Heart Alter Society, Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary, and local bingo halls.
Mary was united in marriage to John Thomas McNamara on Aug. 25, 1956. He preceded her in death.
Other survivors includes four sons, John McNamara, Frank McNamara, Phil McNamara, and Kenny McNamara; two daughters Nora de la Rosa and husband Mike and Julie Edens and husband Rick; nine brothers and sisters Henrietta Stark and husband Elvie, Johnny Lasiter, Martin Lasiter, Loren Lasiter and wife Donna, Joe Lasiter, Richard Lasiter and wife Faye, Nita Dalton and husband Bill, Rita Mitchell, and Millie Palmer and husband Bob; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, five brothers and sisters Joan Lasiter, Betty Lou Swafford, Lucille Magdaleno, Delila Carpenter, and GloriAnn Stark, and a granddaughter Amy Renee McNamara.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2012 at the Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel Carthage, Mo. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. at the Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel.
