Stone’s Throw Dinner Theatre, Carthage, is proud to announce the upcoming presentation of “The Foreigner,” written by Larry Shue and directed by Ray Goepfert.
The Foreigner is a comedy about a painfully shy, down-in-the-dumps Englishman who checks into a down-at-the-heels Georgia fishing lodge to stew about his failing marriage.
He doesn't want to talk to anyone so he pretends not to speak English.
In the meantime he learns a lot about different people: a financially-strapped landlady, a romance-ridden niece, a preacher with evil intent and a racist — all whom he decides to manipulate for positive outcomes.
