Neosho, Mo. -

Funeral services for Tyler Casey, 21, a Seneca firefighter who died Monday from injuries sustained in Saturday’s tornado, have been set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Racine Christian Church.

Casey was dispatched to Missouri Highway 43 for storm-spotting duty. He has been credited with saving the lives of three people by giving them advance warning of Saturday’s tornado. Unfortunately, he was severely injured in the course of those duties.

Casey had served as a volunteer for the Seneca Fire Protection District for three years. He leaves behind a fiancée, a 2-year-old child, and another child on the way.
