    • Mark Twain Tiger Track Meet

    • It was an “oh so happy day,” for Mark Twain as Mother Nature smiled on the annual track meet. Laurel Rosenthal, principal for the school, welcomed all of the students who sat excitedly, but patiently, in line for their turn to show their athletic abilities on Wednesday. “It's about good sportsmanship,” Rosenthal told the kids. “We yell for everyone – It doesn't matter if you're red, yellow or blue ribbon.” Cheers and chants could be heard all down Maple Street as the students raced the 50 and 100 meter dashes, the sack race, long jump, ball throw and the relay race. The event also hosted numerous parents, siblings and many other family and friends to show their support of Mark Twain students.
